The Crawford County Commissioners, through the Crawford County Engineer, require permits for work performed within County road right-of-way and for movement of overweight and over-dimension vehicles.  Applications for these permits may be obtained via the download links below or by picking them up at the Crawford County Engineer’s Office during normal business hours.

Once a permit application is completed, it should be returned to the Crawford County Engineer’s Office for processing.  The Engineer’s Office will review permit applications for completeness and perform field reviews if necessary.  Permit applications will be reviewed within 7 business days unless the complexity/magnitude of a permit application warrants additional time.  Once all the required documentation is provided by the applicant and the permit application is approved, a signed copy will be mailed to the applicant.
